Job Description:
The Theatre Manager works with the Board, management, volunteers and performers to create and maintain an efficient, pleasant and safe environment at the Souris Show Hall. As this is a small theatre duties are all encompassing and may include personnel, financial, administrative duties as well as assisting in developing a marketing plan and assisting in planning events. Basically all aspects of a small theatre. Requires Social Media Marketing and Website updating. Duties are conducted under the supervision of the Chair of the Board.
As this is a performance venue flexible work hours are required. Hours vary according to events and involve weekend and evening work. Drivers licence an asset.
This position is an 14 week term. Possible extension.
