Job Description:

Northumberland Group is seeking a Construction Labourer in Cornwall, PE.

Answering to the company General Manager, the Construction Labourer will be responsible for a variety of on-site duties required for day-to-day construction operations.

Job Duties will include:

  • Working with a crew of 4-6 people to complete tasks
  • Assist skilled carpenter in their tasks
  • Site cleanup
  • Putting away and tracking tools
  • Completing construction tasks under supervision

Qualifications & Experience:  

  • Ideally minimum 1 year of experience in residential construction.
  • Class 5 drivers license and/or reliable transport to and from work
  • WHMIS certificate
  • Standard First Aid
  • Fall protection or other certificates are considered assets

The Construction Labourer will be involved from the start through the completion of multi-unit residential properties. Work locations will be primarily in the Cornwall and west end of Charlottetown areas, with occasional project work throughout Eastern Prince County and Queens County. Mileage may be payable depending on the work site location.
