Baker

Job Description:

Inclusions East requires a Baker to work at its Kingswood Centre location.  The Baker is responsible for preparing fresh baked goods and other items of high quality for retail sales at Kingswood Outlet and/or by custom order direct to Bakery.

Duties of the Baker include; but not limited to, can be summarized as follows:

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist and support the goals and targets of the Kitchen Arts program as directed by the Bakery Supervisor
• Develop and follow a weekly schedule of baked goods/luncheon items that become/remain in high demand by customers
• Maintain a clean work space following a daily schedule; ensuring to follow food safety and worker’s compensation protocols
• Develop and maintain consistent recipes; seek new trends in baked goods/luncheon market; conscientious of market value
• Assist Kitchen Arts program with seasonal food preparation such as preserves and jams
• Share workspace/oven and when appropriate assist other trainees
• Follow opening procedures upon arrival
• Package and label product to have ready for delivery and/or pick-up
• Participate in agency events when appropriate
