Job Description:

We are looking a highly motivated sales representative that can work independently to sell Stepscan® for medical assessment and research.  If you are skilled at the technical, clinical and financial sell and are a top producer looking for an exciting new opportunity to drive sales, we’ve got what you’re looking for.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for positioning and selling Stepscan® in the North American market.  They will utilize personal skills and product knowledge to build and maintain relationships with key customers and achieve assigned quotas; by selling to hospitals, research centers, clinics and universities. This is a fantastic opportunity for an aggressive, motivated individual to grow our market it into a multi-million dollar one.

A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years outside selling experience in the medical device or life sciences sector preferred.

A college or university degree in health sciences, orthopedics, physiotherapy, pedorthics, biomechanics or commerce an asset.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet and achieve sales goals and objectives
  • Tactical implementation of sales activities to achieve business objectives
  • Develop and maintain an expertise on the product platform
  • New business development
  • Contact potential customers at hospitals, clinics, doctor’s offices, research centers and rehab facilities to sell Stepscan® technology
  • Develop and manage relationships with customers and key opinion leaders (KOL’s).
  • Maintains and updates customer database on a daily basis; prepares weekly, monthly reports on sales activities as needed
  • Contract and price negotiations/contract management
  • Coordinates efforts with all departments to insure effective integration of sales orders
  • Provides customer base with excellent post-sale follow up (in service training and product repairs)
  • Works with management to prepare quarterly/yearly sales forecasts and business plans for the assigned territory.
  • Attends trade shows, sales meetings as needed.
  • Responsible for collection of market intelligence such as market trends and competitor activity within the territory
  • Submit timely and accurate expense reports.
