Job Description:

Currently, we are looking for a full-time Purchasing Agent with strong purchasing power in home furniture and building supplies field.
Job Responsibilities:
- The Purchasing Agent is responsible for searching home furniture, building supplies and related products from Asian Market.
- Purchase the highest quality products at the lowest possible price in correct amounts.
- Develop purchasing plan, prepare purchasing orders.
- Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, reliability, production and distribution capabilities and the supplier’s reputation and history.
- Negotiate price and contracts with suppliers.
- Monitor shipments to ensure products come in on time.
- Arrange the payment of duty and freight charges.
- Attend trade shows, conventions and seminars to network with people.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma
- Minimum 2-3 years of Purchasing experience
- Must be able to work independently and detailed oriented
- Must be able to travel
- Multi-Language, Mandarin Preferred, Fluent English
- Experience in trade, building supplies or home furniture purchasing is preferred
- Asian market purchasing knowledge and background is preferred
