Job Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES (could include, but are not limited to):
- Develop, monitor and update project work plans;
- Determine project staffing requirements and assign roles and responsibilities;
- Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with management and stakeholders;
- Manage daily details of project including schedule, budget, scope and risk;
- Facilitate project meetings with clients and team members;
- Establish and maintain good communications with clients on project issues and concerns;
- Prepare project management reports such as statements of work, status reports, change requests, issues logs, etc.;
- Provide and monitor budgets and report to senior management; and
- Manage all resources working on the project.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- University degree in a related discipline or a suitable combination of education and experience;
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required;
- Master’s degree would be considered an asset;
- 7+ years of demonstrated project management experience;
- Experience in managing technology projects, using structured project management methodologies;
- Experience using agile methodologies;
- Demonstrated ability to apply skills and techniques to solve problems;
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment;
- Highly logical, technically proficient, and keen attention to detail; and
- Sense of urgency with the confidence to handle a variety of challenges.
