Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES (could include, but are not limited to):

  • Develop, monitor and update project work plans;
  • Determine project staffing requirements and assign roles and responsibilities;
  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with management and stakeholders;
  • Manage daily details of project including schedule, budget, scope and risk;
  • Facilitate project meetings with clients and team members;
  • Establish and maintain good communications with clients on project issues and concerns;
  • Prepare project management reports such as statements of work, status reports, change requests, issues logs, etc.;
  • Provide and monitor budgets and report to senior management; and
  • Manage all resources working on the project.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • University degree in a related discipline or a suitable combination of education and experience;
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required;
  • Master’s degree would be considered an asset;
  • 7+ years of demonstrated project management experience;
  • Experience in managing technology projects, using structured project management methodologies;
  • Experience using agile methodologies;
  • Demonstrated ability to apply skills and techniques to solve problems;
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment;
  • Highly logical, technically proficient, and keen attention to detail; and
  • Sense of urgency with the confidence to handle a variety of challenges.
