Job Description:

Responsibilities

Candidate would be responsible for a variety of duties in a fast-paced, flexible environment.

Depending on relevant experience and inclination, these could include:

  • Working with the team lead to deliver applications within defined sprint schedules
  • Design & coding of core functionality and systems
  • Follow team direction & management, including code review
  • Developing technical designs & strategies based on high level designs
  • Developing & executing deployment strategies for fast-growing applications
  • Participating in design sessions to align game experiences with technical solutions
  • Identifying potential technical obstacles in designs and developing alternate solutions
  • Developing in-house initiatives to increase productivity & address common problems

Required Experience

  • Unity 3D
  • Primarily mobile games
  • C# language strongly preferred
  • Prior knowledge of mobile optimization techniques a benefit
  • Familiarity with Android & iOS deployment and testing procedures a benefit
  • Familiarity with Unity building, bundling, and debugging a benefit
  • Experience interfacing with 3rd party APIs and tools a benefit
  • HTML5
  • Javascript
  • PhaserJS Engine
  • Game development experience using HTML5

Additional Relevant Skills

  • Version control experience (Git / Subversion)
  • Experience working with serialized data formats (XML / JSON)
  • Experience working with bug and task tracking systems (Atlassian Jira)

Languages:

  • English
