Job Description:

Job Summary: Charlottetown Metal Products is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Industrial Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment used in the manufacturing process. The successful candidate will be required to work with a variety of electrical systems, including industrial control systems, motors, PLCs, and automated machinery, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair a variety of industrial electrical equipment and machinery, including motors, transformers, generators, and control systems.
  • Utilize schematics, blueprints, and diagnostic tools to identify and resolve electrical issues effectively.
  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure the reliability and optimal performance of equipment, reducing the risk of downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and address electrical malfunctions to minimize operational disruptions and maintain efficient processes.
  • Accurately document all maintenance and repair activities to ensure proper records are maintained for future reference and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as an Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and components.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
  • Familiarity with PLCs, motor control systems, and variable frequency drives.
  • Mandatory certification or licensure as a licensed Electrician.
