Digital Marketing Coordinator

Job Description:

We are currently looking for a dynamic, energetic individual who is creative and passionate about marketing and social media to attract and engage our guests.

BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assisting in coordinating the day-to-day marketing activities with a focus on digital marketing, social media, reputation management and content creation.
• Develop and maintain local and in house marketing campaigns and collateral according to brand standards.
• Effectively communicating marketing initiatives to management and partners.
• Copyedit, proofread, and revise communications.
• Assist hotel and resort teams with reputation management.
• Participating in departmental meetings, including marketing, sales and revenue management.
• Actively participating in industry trade shows promoting Rodd Hotels & Resorts.
• Flexibility to meet additional job duties as assigned by the Marketing Manager.

SKILLS, ABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently enrolled in or having completed a post-secondary diploma/degree with a specialization in Marketing, Communications or Public Relations or the equivalent experience is considered a strong asset.
• Proficient use of Microsoft applications. (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Experience with Social Media monitoring and engagement.
• Effective writing and communication skills.
• Excellent goal setting and time management skills.
• Pride in completion of tasks with enthusiasm and strong attention to detail.
• Must be flexible in availability, inclusive of weekends, days, evenings and required holidays.
