JOB DESCRIPTION:

As the Data & Quality Systems Specialist you will be responsible for configure, set-up and support the 3PA Quality & Engineering Document Management System for both document control and data management and its interfaces with the Operations group. Provide administrative support and guidance for the interfaces between 3PMA and regulatory agencies.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the technical configuration of  3PMA Quality and Engineering groups software and documentation;
  • Responsible for providing specialist advice, and technical guidance as necessary on documentation purchases;
  • Provide assistance to projects in the setup and interfaces between the various engineering, design and project delivery systems;
  • Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the 3PA Quality Assurance system;
  • Conduct internal audits in support of Quality System;
  • Provide support in development and management of Quantum Control™ work processes and document management;
  • Support 3A Material Quality Assurance program; and
  • Safety – Responsible for personal safety, safe working practices etc. Understand and follow the 3PA OH&S procedures.
  • Provide support to ERP system and configuration management

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Experience with all Microsoft technologies and applications; and
  • Experience with Web/Intranet
  • Experience working in a Quality System certified to ISO 9001-2008/AS9100
  • Experience working in a Transport Canada Civil Aviation certified facility
    Experience in set up, managing and configuring document management systems;
  • Experience in engineering and document management;

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand key business processes and related issues;

  • Able to demonstrate a motivated approach to work including the ability to plan, prioritize and work under pressure to meet set deadlines with good follow up and documentation skills;
  • Willing to continuously update personal IT skills and knowledge;
  • Demonstrated ability to easily acquire experience and knowledge of systems and associated maintenance and operating procedures;
  • Knowledge of Electronic Document Management systems;
