Job Description:

In this role you will:

  • Actively prospect to uncover and develop new business opportunities ;
  • Identify the needs of client and agency partners through discussions of their objectives and strategies, and collaborate with marketing to develop advertising opportunities to meet them;
  • Maintain a high awareness and understanding of the market and the competition to all goals and targets;
  • Develop strong sales plans with a clear plan to attack allocated segments/territories;
  • Meet or exceed sales/performance targets;
  • Identify complex customer needs and build custom client solutions that differentiate the SaltWire Network from competitors;
  • Articulate SaltWire Network’s value proposition and prove ROI with data;
  • Maintain a comprehensive record of client opportunities and engagements within the companies CRM system (Salesforce).

Minimum Qualifications:

  • University education, preferably with a degree in the sales and/or marketing field;
  • Minimum 5+ years’ sales experience with a proven track record in building and growing a multiple M+ revenue business;
  • Experience in delivering  results in both “traditional” and “new” media environments and selling complex solutions to national and/or regional accounts;
  • Experience with CRM tools (i.e. Salesforce);
  • Valid driver’s license.
