Job Title: Materials Co-ordinator
Date: November 20, 2024

Company Information: Action Aero Inc. specializes in the overhaul and repair of fuel, oil, and air related engine accessories installed on the PT6A, PT6T, PW100, JT15D and RR250 engines

Main Responsibilities: Verify incoming parts and organize their distribution into the production shop. Prepare related documents and determine proper shipping methods for ensuring on time delivery to customers.

Duties:

  • Unpack received parts, pack outgoing parts
  • Inspect and verify incoming parts, confirm receiving documents match customer contract
  • Note and report discrepancies and obvious damages
  • Ensure correct parts and documentation accompany incoming and outgoing work orders
  • Operate software/databases of shipping companies (i.e. FedEx, UPS)
  • Accurately complete parts picking requests in a timely manner
  • Re-fill shop floor bin inventory, as required
  • Suggest improvements to procedures, to improve process time, and/or reduce costs
  • Coordinate and monitor logistics of the movement of parts and supplies and ensure supplies, materials are shipped and received on schedule
  • Prepare and process all customs documents for international and U.S. Shipments

Qualifications (Skills/Knowledge):

  • Able to read and comprehend complex documents
  • Strong aptitude for reading part numbers, serial numbers and quantities correctly
  • Basic mathematics skills
  • Customer contact skills
  • Must have experience using Microsoft Office products
  • Attention to details

Qualifications (Education and Experience):

  • Experience shipping with FedEx, UPS, DHL and Purolator preferred
  • Experience using inventory ERP systems would be an asset
  • Aerospace background preferred
  • High School Diploma/ Post Secondary Education Preferred
