Job Description:
The primary responsibility of the installers in our shower division is the cut, fit, install or replace shower glass and glass railings in residential and commercial environments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assemble and install prefabricated shower glass, shower doors, mirrors and glass products on walls, ceilings or other areas as may be required for installation.
Read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
Take measurements of all projects to ensure accuracy in ordering material.
Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed.
Perform other duties and/or projects as may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous work experience for glass curtain, shower and/or railing industry
Previous hands-on experience and knowledge of fabricating and installation
Strong interpersonal skills with excellent customer service
Detail oriented and able to trouble shoot customer issues.
Knowledge of construction operations and procedures preferred.
Experience in the construction industry preferred.
Experience in working with glass and aluminum.
Very familiar with hand tools such as power drills, hammers, and saws.
Physically fit with an ability to lift up to 80lbs/100lbs with standing endurance.
Ability to work at heights.
Ability to work well with a team of subcontractors and a supervisor.
